The Victim Services of Peel crisis intervention program offers immediate emotional and practical support to individuals and families who have been victimized by crime or tragic circumstance. We offer healing through counselling and advocacy, and we give hope through an array of services that empower people and prevent further trauma through education and support.
- Short Term Counselling: Enable individuals, families, and groups to make informed choices
- Scene Attendance: Counsellors are trained to respond to emotional needs immediately from the scene of a crime or tragedy, and onward.
- REACH: An information distribution program designed to provide victims of crime and tragedy with literature that is specific to their personal needs following their victimization.
