About this service
Once a young women is ready to enter back into the community it is very important that the Reintegration Program has Follow-up and Aftercare programs to assists young women leaving custody.
The Follow-up and Aftercare Program(s) assists young women to become community ready as they leave custody. The program seeks to address three main objectives of the Youth Criminal Justice Act:
- The prevention of youth crime
- The use of meaningful consequences
- Rehabilitation and reintegration through a relational supportive approach
