About this service

Anyone can be a victim of family violence, regardless of their age, race, economic status, religion, sexual orientation, or education. While men can be victims of family violence, women represent the overwhelming majority of victims. It is consistently identified as one of the most common forms of violence against women in Canada.

Many of our programs offer support to women and children who have experienced gender based violence. Violence and abuse can take on many forms and affect individuals, couples, and families differently.
