Newcomers registered as clients at Bramalea CHC can access primary health care from an integrated team of health care professionals that includes: nurse practitioners, family physicians, registered nurses, community health educators, medical office assistants, social workers, community dietitians, physiotherapists, and chiropodist. Newcomers without health card can still access primary health care. .

Other supports include:

  • Assistance in obtaining an OHIP card
  • Guidance in accessing language, educational and employment programs
  • Referrals to other agencies that can provide support with settlement issues
