About this service
A Hand Up clothing room offers people in need of clothing a place to shop with dignity at no cost. You can find us at 31 Frederick Street, upstairs in the Connection Centre.
New Covid Policies:
Only 2 clients in the room at a time
10 min shopping time limit
You are required to wear a mask inside.
Sanitize your hands before you enter and when you leave the room
Please do not bring your children with you
We have chairs and shade provided outside for you while you wait.
Please be patient
We are thankful to our donors for the quality garments they supply us with that allows us to supplement the clothing needs of many people in our community.
We offer clothing to men, women, youth, children and infants. There is something for everyone.
Often, clients come by just to say hi and catch up on the week. We welcome and encourage this! There is always fresh coffee, delicious snacks, a warm smile and listening ears
