About this service
At BPS Early Learning and Childcare Centre, we offer care to all children from 2.5 to 6 years on a full or part time basis. We also provide a program for all children aged 3.8 to 12 years before and after school.
This program is a licensed child care centre which follows the Ministry of Education's How Does Learning Happen? document (HDLH).
The concept behind HDLH is that all children deserve to experience inquiry based learning through play and to grow and flourish under the 4 foundations: Well Being, Belonging, Engagement and Expression. Thus, we believe children are competent, capable of complex thinking, curious and rich in potential. The environment will allow the child freedom to explore and be curious.
