About this service
The VQRP provides timely financial assistance to victims of violent crime. It is designed to support victims in the immediate aftermath of a violent crime, to lessen the impact of the event, and to increase a victim's safety. It is intended to help contribute to the costs of counseling, emergency home repair, funeral, and emergency expenses. This support is available to victims of homicide, attempted murder, serious physical assault, domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and hate crimes.
