About this service
MTS is funded through The Ontario Trillium Foundation, Victim Services, the Quinte & District Victim's Fund, the Rotary Club of Belleville, Rotary Club of Quinte Sunrise and local community sponsors. MTS provides high-risk victims of domestic violence with a GPS panic button, to be used in the event they cannot access 911. After pressing the panic button, a victim's location is pinpointed using GPS, and police are dispatched to the scene. This program is administered in partnership with EYEZ-ON.
