About this service
Quinte Vocational Support Services (QVSS) offers Recreation & Leisure services as part of their Adult Day Services. These services aim to enhance the community involvement and quality of life of their service-users through inclusive social programs. QVSS combines living and life skills with leisure and recreational activities, and modifies these programs semi-annually to accommodate seasonal activities. They offer special events or day trips nearly every month, the expenses of which are often subsidized or free due to donations. These trips can be for learning or fun, and previous outings have included trips to Canada's Wonderland, Royal Ontario Museum, Medieval Times, and more.
