About this service
COVID-19 Update: Wednesday evening service is temporarily suspended. If you are a client that accesses Wednesday evenings, please contact us to arrange alternative options. Our client services are being modified to reflect the current situation. We are still accepting clients; however, the method of receiving food will change. At this time, no client is to enter our building. We are structuring client services to protect the health and safety of clients, our volunteers, and staff. Clients are able to provide the routine information at our main door. Once processed, clients will follow guidelines to receive their food at the secondary entrance. Gleaners now offers a space for community outreach. We invite various services and programs into our agency during operating hours to provide resources and information to our clients. Currently, the Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health offers various programs such as Immunization, Smoking Cessation, Dental Clinic, and Naloxone services.
