About this service
TRC Addiction Treatment Centres provides services such as Urine Drug Screening for our patients at the onsite laboratory. As specified by the attending physician, patients provide samples in a controlled environment onsite. The Laboratory can also conduct simple blood tests and pregnancy testing (routinely performed in a medical office) if required by a patient to support their care. For more in-depth laboratory services we use Gamma Dynacare Medical Labs (GDML). We are equipped to collect samples for blood screening including HIV, Hep-B/C, serology and liver function tests as well as TB Skin tests. TRCs Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is tied in with GDML system to support electronic porting of lab results so that our attending physician & medical staff have the patients lab results available to them in a secure and timely manner electronically. Our testing guidelines help ensure our patients make progress in the completion of the program.
