About this service
The Bayside Mission Centre currently offers temporary emergency shelter to 26 men, 21 years of age or older who are experiencing homelessness, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. At the Bayside Mission we offer more than just a roof. We offer three balanced meals a day, laundry facilities, showers, computer access, access to our program room as well as a monthly meeting for residents to voice their concerns and hopes for the centre. Our program is designed to provide supports and services that link people with a continuum of supports that are designed to lead individuals to long-term, stable and safe housing. Support to find and maintain housing through partnership with Barrie Housing Support Services. Referral to appropriate treatment programs and community services Life skills management Triage and Assessment Case Management individual goal planning Budgeting/financial planning Aftercare supports Pastoral care services
