About this service
Jail Visitation and Advocacy Staff from the Elizabeth Fry Society visit women on a regular basis for reintegration planning, parole hearings, and advocacy for women at Grand Valley Institute in Kitchener-Waterloo, Vanier Centre for Women in Milton, and Central North Correctional Centre (CNCC) in Penetanguishene. Womens Program A trained facilitator provides one-to-one support and reintegration programs to women as part of the reintegration process at the Central North Correctional Centre (CNCC). Community Maintenance Program The Community Maintenance Program is a self-management, follow-up program for men under supervision of Correctional Services Canada (CSC) . The goal of the program is to review skills that are taught in institutions, and to apply those skills to problems, high-risk situations and obstacles men may face in the community, after release.
