About this service
The Gilbert Centre runs a program called, QT Youth Connection which is a drop-in and social space for Queer, Trans, Intersex, Questioning and Non-Binary youth. Groups take place in Barrie, Orillia, Midland, Bradford, and Stayner and are a place for youth to connect with each other and to community. Our goal is to provide opportunities for youth to get together in a relaxed social space and to access resources and support on topics and issues that relate to sexual and romantic connections, and gender. Weve done lots of great events with the groups, including social discussions, picnics, art workshops, cooking classes, field trips, movie nights, educational presentations, guest speakers, and more!
