About this service

St. John Vianney Parish is happy to offer a program designed to reach lonely and isolated seniors living within Barrie. It has been identified that in Simcoe County, we have a high number of seniors living alone who are in desperate need of a friendly visitor. Our dedicated volunteers are properly vetted and trained. Visits are generally one hour, one day a week with activities ranging from talking to playing games or even taking a stroll in a safe designated space.
