Discovery Child Care - Nursery Program

We believe that children learn best in positive and engaging outdoor environments. Our nursery school children have regular and repeated access to the natural world by spending of their morning in our Nature Classroom. Through this, children are receiving an educational experience while engaging in active exploration, inquiry, and play. Each day at Discovery, children are offered learning experiences in outdoor spaces that invite them to investigate, imagine, create, solve problems, and make meaning from their experiences with interesting and complex open-ended materials. Our environments, learning experiences, transitions and routines support childrens growing autonomy and independence. All our experiences occur to support childrens connections to and interactions with the natural world and to enhance childrens natural sense of wonder and joy that sets the foundation for optimal success
