About this service
While aging at home can sometimes be difficult, our Indigenous Independent Living Care Program will allow individuals to have a sense of independence and support within the community. It can provide great opportunities to access culturally sensitive homemaking and assisted living care services to older adults (of the age 55+) who self-identify as First Nation, Métis or Inuit. Some of the services include homemaking duties such as light housekeeping, laundry, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming and dusting around the residence. Assisted living services include, personal care and hygiene support, medication support and meal preparation
