About this organization

Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer (OPACC) is a registered charity whose mission, since our establishment in 1995, has been to be the parent voice for families with children diagnosed with cancer across Ontario. OPACC supports families of children with cancer through free programs and services, including peer-to-peer, psychosocial, in-hospital and virtual support through our Parent Liaison program; establishing community parent support groups; financial assistance with paying for hospital parking and distribution of grocery and gas gift cards; raising awareness and advocating on issues of importance to childhood cancer families.
