About this organization

The North Hastings District Hospital Auxiliary was founded in 1985. Since then, we have expanded into many areas of fundraising for our excellent local hospital. We staff an information centre for visitors to the hospital. Our Corner Caf, located in the adjacent professional building, is completely staffed by volunteers. It includes an adjacent 'Book Nook' where visitors may sit and browse the library or buy a book or two or three for very reasonable prices. Our "New to You" used clothing boutique, staffed by a crowd of enthusiastic fashionistas, is located at 189 Hastings Street North and offers gently used clothing for adults. We are also involved in multiple fundraising events, including the popular Radiothon and many others. Our cheerful band of volunteers is willing to tackle all sorts of endeavors to benefit our hospital, which we all agree we are most fortunate to have in our small town.
