Providing Disease Prevention and Patient Education Through A Collaborative, Multidisciplinary Approach
Dr. Greg Cooper and Dr. Carolyn Brown moved to Bancroft in 1986. In 2006 the initiative to start the Bancroft Community Family Health Team (BFHT) came to light. The BFHT is intimately connected with the community, and has always steered towards a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to health care. A registered charity, made up of a mixed board of health care providers and Hastings County residents, the entire town benefits from a diverse group of medical and community experts who are better able to make informed and balanced decisions.
