About this service
Durham Youth Services operates Jackys Place, a transitional house for youth between the ages of 16 24. Jackys Place provides a supportive environment where youth learn the skills needed to transition to independent living.
Residents can live at Jackys Place for one year with the possibility of extension. Residents receive intensive case management and life skills training.
Jackys Place is semi-supported by staff and acts as shelter overflow during the COVID-19 pandemic.
