About this organization
The Northern Arts and Cultural Centre (NACC) is a 297 seat theatre facility located in Yellowknife, NWT, Canada. It was built with the help of the publisher of the Globe and Mail newspaper whose fundraising efforts raised monies from varied sources across Canada. It is the only fully equipped live performance theatre in the NWT.
The Northern Arts and Cultural Centre exists as a non-profit charitable organization incorporated in February of 1981, operating under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors with three (increased in 2008 to four) full-time staff and supported by valued funders, sponsors, community interests, partner organizations, society members and community volunteers.
