About this service

Provides assistance to eligible veterans, members of the Canadian Armed Forces (Regular and Reserve), members and former members of the RCMP, and their families. Services include information and referral, form completion assistance, needs assessment, and care planning. Also offers help to access health and mental health services, support for transitioning to civilian life, home care services, grounds maintenance, long-term care, and rehabilitation programs. Financial assistance includes disability compensation, health-related benefits, help with the cost of funerals and burials, and the War Veterans Allowance. VAC services can also be accessed through any Service Canada location.
