Through our incredible partnership with the IWK, we have a nurse who offers health care to our youth.
Services include, but are not limited to:
Health assessments
Referrals for immunizations
Nursing and physician care for some illness and injury
Mental health support and coordination
Referrals for STI (sexually transmitted infection) testing
Obtaining of a Nova Scotia Health Card
Phoenix listens and connects youth and families with the services they need, either at Phoenix or in the larger community.
