About this service
Community Action Program for Children is a community based Childrens program funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada. The Mikmaq Child Development Centre initiated CAPC based programing in 1994. The Halifax CAPC Program Our Children Our Way has developed programs and resources to promote the healthy development of off-reserve children and their parents. The Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) and Aboriginal Head Start (AHS) work closely to provide seamless services to parents and children.
