About this service
APSEA has Preschool Specialists in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island to support the individual needs of children who are blind or visually impaired and their families during the critical development years of birth to age five. Through home visits and support in early childhood settings, APSEA itinerant teachers, with support from the Preschool Specialists, work with family members, care givers, and other professionals to create a program plan for learning and skill development for each child. This support includes helping the child transition from home/preschool to Primary.
