About this service
As of 2014 ACNS has begun to look at the HIV/STI (sexually transmitted infection) prevention needs of transgender individuals as an expansion of the work it has long done with gay and bisexual men. So, at this time, this work is organized under our Gay Mens Health project (see Gay Mens Health). To date this has been limited to the inclusion of male-identified transgender men in prevention work targeting gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (MSM).
In the near future, we plan to expand our work to extend to transgender people more generally. All of this work is in a broader context of overall individual and community sexual health; whether you are HIV negative, HIV positive, or dont know your status.
