About this organization
The We Are Young Association is a non-profit organization that works with sponsors, volunteers, and its community to grant unfulfilled wishes to seniors living in the province of Nova Scotia. Through the granting of wishes, the WAY Association hopes to raise social awareness around the inequalities of our seniors, honor the role they play in our society, and help bridge the gap between generations.
For a variety of reasons, many seniors have missed out on the opportunity to pursue their unexplored dreams and wishes. The WAY Association encourages the youthful spirit of our seniors to embrace this opportunity and to be recognized and rewarded for their contribution to society. The idea of creating happiness at an older age in everyones life is what shapes the core of this organization.
