About this organization
Its often touted as the most important meal of the day, which is just one of the reasons why Spryfield (NS) Family Resource Centre offers a free, weekly breakfast program to the community.
We started this program four years ago, says volunteer Annette Frost. Ive been here ever since.
Frost is one of eight regular volunteers who prepare breakfast every Thursday morning out of the centre, and bakes muffins at home for those who come in hungry.
Clients line up for their breakfast of pancakes, toast, muffins, fresh fruit, cereal and breakfast meat. Tea, coffee and conversation are bottomless.
