About this organization
The South End Community Day Care is a non-profit community-based day care in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia.
We offer a uniquely diverse and inclusive full-time program for children aged 6 months to five years, and a school age program for children in Grade Primary to Grade Six.
We provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow to their full potential through:
Quality programming with a focus on each individual childs needs and interests
Whole child development wherein each child is nurtured emotionally, socially, physically, creatively, and intellectually
A learning-through-play approach with weekly thematic units
