About this organization
We strive to provide 2SLGBTQ+ youth with social support and increase their confidence with navigating life as 2SLGBTQ+ by pairing them with a supportive adult who has been through it all before.
1-on-1 Mentorship:
Mentees (ages 15-23) are individually paired with a Mentor (age 24+).
Parings will be a space to celebrate being 2SLGBTQ+, as well as a space to discuss any hardships that come along with it. Youth will have the opportunity to seek advice about 2SLGBTQ+ matters (eg. coming out, becoming comfortable with ones identity, dealing with an unsupportive family, etc.), or just talk to someone with a listening ear.
It definitely doesnt have to be about the tough conversations! Pairs will also be encouraged to take part in fun activities, such as playing a sport, creating art, grabbing coffee together - anything that you and your Mentor/Mentee want to do!
Anyone who would like the benefits of being or having a positive 2SLGBTQ+ role model is welcome to join!
