About this organization
HeartWood offers various programs and services including Leadership Training for young people, to develop their skills and confidence as community leaders. This includes programs and workshops on leadership, team-building, service learning, community development, group dynamics, facilitation tools and techniques, and community asset mapping. HeartWood also provides support, professional development, program facilitation, and research to those working with youth. This includes training and support on youth engagement, community youth development, program planning and facilitation, stages of group development and group dynamics, mentorship, and games and activities. We also also research and develop resource tools on youth engagement.
