About this organization
Direction 180 is a community-based, opioid treatment program located in the North End of Halifax, Nova Scotia. This non-profit organization has been running since 2001 as a program of the Mikmaw Native Friendship Center.
Our program was designed and implemented based upon the social determinants of health, recognizing that substance use and recovery are often dependent on a multitude of issues including; housing, mental health, income, social support networks, employment and education.
