About this organization

DCDC is a non-profit centre of early learning and care which provides programs for children ages 3 months to 5 years.

Our newly renovated environment has 7 classrooms and can accommodate children ranging from infants to preschool. We also have an indoor gymnasium and three outdoor natural play spaces designed to meet each age groups needs (Infant, toddler and preschool).

Our landlord, Arsenal Developments, has generously provided us with a great deal of outdoor space in which to create our vision of natural play spaces. This vision embraces the concept of the importance of outdoor play for healthy development in children. Use of natural elements such as logs, gardens, water, mud and grass are supplemented with loose parts ~ re-purposed containers, fabric, lumber, pots & pans ~ anything goes! Limited use of plastics and other non-biodegradable materials help teach children the importance of the earth.
