About this service
Self Development focuses on promoting self-advocacy, building essential life skills, and participating in recreational activities. Regular outings in the community are prioritized as well. The Self Development Department regularly create items to sell at our Social Enterprise "ReFind". Several of the participants take part in work experience at both of our Social Enterprises part time as well. Some of the daily programming includes: Basic meal prep and baking, art therapy, yoga and meditation, social skills group, sign language, and various daily domestic skills.
