About this organization
Our Council helps the poor in the northside area. We provide food, (delivered), supply household items, clothing, furniture (pick up and delivery) through our depot open for 1st 3 Fridays for 10 months. We have a phone with an answering machine to alert us to requests for help. When we have the funds we provide emergency heating oil, help with medical travel and to get to new job placements. All work is provided by about 30 volunteers and no paid staff. Our focus is seniors, working poor and others in need.
