About this organization
The Ark/Lunenburg County Association for the Specially Challenged provides a variety of vocational and educational programs for persons with special challenges. We also provide supported employment, job training and health programs for persons with challenges.
The programs at The Ark enable participants to gain work experience in horticulture, retail and production work such as survey stake making and rug braiding. With an emphasis on positive work activity, healthy living concepts and creative recreation programming, participants are better prepared for community employment and growth towards independence.
