About this organization
Located in the beautiful town of Amherst, Gables Lodge is the ideal place for those who require nursing care and assistance or supervision with their activities of daily living.
Residents who live at Gables Lodge enjoy the activity program which provides plenty of entertainment and encourages socialization among neighbours whenever possible. For their convenience, there is also a hair salon, library, and a multi-denominational spiritual center in the facility. Healthy meals and snacks are prepared onsite under the direction of our nutritionist and are enjoyed in our beautifully decorated dining areas.
Gables Lodge is GEM Health Care Groups first senior care location. The original Gables Lodge had clients living in a series of three Victorian homes, but after it was acquired in 1980 it was soon reconstructed to introduce GEMs high standard of care to Nova Scotias seniors.
