About this service
The Linkages program is a wage subsidy program funded by Advanced Education, Skills and Labour (AESL). The program is available to residents of the Newfoundland and Labrador who are 18-30 years of age and are Canadian citizens or are permanent residents of NL and are entitled to work in Canada. Applicants must be non EI eligible and have level 2 high school and have been out of school for a minimum of six months. Further, applicants cannot have post-secondary training, must have limited work experience and have a developed employment plan.
The goal of the Linkages program is to provide 26 weeks of paid-employment to youth (18-30 years of age). This experience is an opportunity for the participant to take part in career and employment planning.
