Often the needed help for this abuse goes untreated which causes the abused to live with unwarranted guilt and shame. Most people act out in a variety of ways which can lead to harmful lifestyle choices including addictions, promiscuity, and food/image related disorders.
If you are a sufferer of sexual abuse we strongly urge you to seek help and, over time, gain victory over the abuse that was inflicted on you.
