About this organization
I am highly skilled in working with individuals affected by alcohol and drug dependency, and those experiencing gambling addiction. Have received specialized additions certification and training in the areas of Motivational Interviewing, CBT and Structured Relapse prevention. For 13 years, I was the Program Manager of the Recovery Centre (provincial detox), addictions services in St. John's and the Methadone Treatment Facility, a program I developed and launched in 2007.
I have represented the Province at various high level Atlantic and National addictions symposiums addressing effective clinical treatment and program development. Currently one of the province's leading experts in withdrawal management, methadone/suboxone treatment and specialized addiction treatment. I bring years of specialized training and experience to my practice. and welcome the opportunity to work with individuals coping with addiction and families seeking knowledge and support.
