About this service
Recreation is the line of business used to attract youth to the centre initially. It is important for youth to be engaged on a level of personal interest in order to foster involvement with more significant programs and services. In addition, we strive to introduce our young people to new activities and learning opportunities, whether its taking them on field trips to Bell Island, the Geo Centre, rock climbing, horseback riding or a play. For the majority of our youth, they are participating in these activities for the first time through their involvement with the SPLASH Centre.
