About this organization
I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Social Workers. For almost 15 years I have worked with children, families and adults in the field of mental health and wellness in New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador.
I am a Diplomate and certified member of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. This certification is awarded to mental health professionals who have demonstrated an advanced level of expertise in Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I have extensive training from the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and clinical supervision through the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavior Therapy Supervision Program for Therapists. I provide Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help people who are experiencing intense and unpleasant emotions and are struggling to cope at home, in school or at work.
