About this service
Our parenting programs are designed to give support, encouragement and practical strategies to help build healthy relationships between parents and their children.
Some of the topics offered are:
- Child Development
- Positive Discipline
- Understanding Temperament
- Picky Eating
- School Readiness and Communication
There are also two ongoing parent programs that we offer:
- Home Again, Gone Again for families with a parent who works away
- BEST Moms one of our most popular programs!
Car Seat Clinics
We offer a wide variety of services including (but not limited to)the following:
- car seat inspections and installations
- information sessions
- appearances at community events
The Clothing Closet provides gently used clothing & items for babies, children and moms-to-be. It is located at the hub site in Deer Lake and provides an opportunity for families to exchange clothing.
