During individual sessions, we will work on an overall wellness goal, but we will focus our efforts on completing tasks, learning new skills, or processing trauma. Completing these tasks will help you navigate through the process of achieving your overall wellness goal.
Individual therapy sessions can increase positive feelings, such as compassion and self-esteem. People in therapy can learn skills for handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions, and reaching their goals. Many find they thoroughly enjoy the therapeutic journey of becoming more self-aware that they continue to engage in ongoing therapy for self-growth.
