About this service
A pilot project funded by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, CREST (Clarenville Region Extended Seniors Transportation) is a low cost, community run, sixteen-passenger/8-wheelchair bus for people over the age of sixty or people with moderate mobility impairment. The service covers the Clarenville region through a system where passengers book their travel at least one day in advance. Fare is $2 cash.
Provides a transportation system for people over the age of sixty and those over twenty-five who are confined to a wheelchair.
The service covers an area centered in Clarenville with approximately a twenty-kilometer radius.
The service operates on a scheduled route. Passengers must book by noon the day before they wish to travel. Cancellations must be made at least twenty-four hours in advance of the scheduled pickup.
