The Clarenville Protective Community Care Residence is a 12-bed long-term care residence that provides specialized care and accommodations for individuals with mild to moderate dementia. Because of the size of the home, residents receive one-on-one care with staff.
Supported by trained staff and best practices, the residence is specially designed to positively impact the quality of life for residents, allowing them to wander freely in a safe and secure facility. It features a home-like atmosphere with private rooms, home cooked meals and recreation therapy as well as open shared social spaces and access to safe outdoor areas, consisting of a large patio, and a locked secure garden.
Admission to long-term care is coordinated through the office of placement services for long-term care.
