About this organization
Independence Plus is a non-profit organization providing long term care options for individuals with various developmental and physical challenges. Long term care support options include residential settings known as Community Residences, Alternate Family Living, Life Sharing, and in-home support programs.
All programs offer developmental care with life skills teaching, community inclusion, and skill development with ongoing maintenance of acquired skills. Support in all activities of daily living.
Primary goals are to have all clients less dependent on systems and paid supports. The intention is to improve overall quality of life, provide a more cost effective delivery of services, and ensure that all persons have the right of choice in all decisions affecting their lives.
