Saint Johns Fire Service has been operating since 1786. To this day, the citizens of Saint John have been extremely supportive of their Fire Service; they recognize the risks that are inherent in the oldest incorporated city that is the most industrialized in eastern Canada, and has a vast land mass of 126 square miles.
