About this organization
The Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick is committed to providing educational and support services to people affected by Alzheimer and related diseases, caregivers, and the general public. Some of the services the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick offers include individual support, information and referral services, support groups, educational workshops and a resource library.
Saint John Alzheimer Society offers family support groups, information, a resource library, and memorial cards.
The Caregivers Support group meets every 4th Thursday of the month at 221 Ellerdale Street (Loch Lomond Villa Wellness Cetnre which faces Valley Street) at 7:00 pm. The Caregiver Support Group is for family members,caregivers or anyone interested in Alzheimer and related dementias. The Caregiver Support group is intended to educate caregivers about the disease and to help them cope and reduce stress.
